Channel Alliances
CDM Software Solutions, based in the U.S., provides software products, services, and support for freight forwarders and NVOCCs. CDM's innovative and comprehensive solutions reduce the paper trail and allow businesses to trade electronic information efficiently using the latest technology. CDM and CargoSmart have connected their systems to provide high quality, reliable ocean shipment information for customers to process bookings and shipping instructions through CDM's applications.

Established in 1970, Drewry is a leading independent provider of research and consulting services to the maritime and shipping industry, employing over 100 professionals across an international network of offices in London, Delhi, Singapore, and Shanghai. CargoSmart has collaborated with Drewry since 2012 to provide data for its research reports, including key performance indicators and carrier performance analysis.

Established in 1977, NACCS Center manages NACCS (Nippon Automated Cargo and Port Consolidated System), a system for electronic processing of import/export related services in Japan, and engages in program development and modification and other services involved in the running of NACCS. CargoSmart was one of the first service providers to sign an agreement with NACCS Center in 2012 to connect each others’ systems to enable ocean carriers and non-vessel operating common carriers (NVOCCs) to comply with Japan Customs’ newly enacted Advance Filing Rules, effective in March 2014.

Ningbo E-port provides a first-class public information platform that is designed to help logistics service providers and cargo owners efficiently process imports and exports through Ningbo Port in China. The platform delivers international logistics and customs clearance information services for ocean, air, rail, and truck shipments. Ningbo E-port and CargoSmart have integrated their systems by electronic data interchange (EDI) for booking requests, shipping instructions, and cargo tracking data. The integration helps Ningbo E-port customers connect with their ocean carriers, submit bookings and shipping instructions, and manage their shipments effectively. The connections enable Ningbo E-port customers to improve their supply chain visibility and streamline their shipment management processes.

Paradigm, a Hong-Kong based software provider, delivers a complete e-business suite for international freight forwarders to meet increasing demand for service quality and information availability for their customers. Paradigm and CargoSmart have integrated their systems to enable Paradigm customers to submit shipping instructions and track cargo for their ocean shipments through Paradigm's FM2000 and FM3000 solutions. In addition, Paradigm's customers can use CargoSmart's advanced visibility solutions to optimize shipment routes based on transit times, reduce transportation costs, and resolve shipment problems sooner with exception detection.

SGS China and CargoSmart have teamed up to provide solutions for shippers to meet the new Safety of Life at Sea Convention’s Verified Gross Mass (SOLAS VGM) container weight requirements. The alliance allows shippers to use trusted solutions from both companies to follow standard and efficient weighing procedures and to collect and submit the required information to ocean carriers in a timely manner to comply with VGM requirements.
