CargoSmart has added Booking Request, Shipping Instructions, and Shipment Detail to CargoSmart Desktop for Company Members. Also, users may now manage their profiles and view their access privileges, including e-mail subscriptions, under Administration.
CargoSmart Desktop is a way for you to quickly access your shipment information without visiting the CargoSmart Web site. In addition to the new features, the application offers access to Sailing Schedule, Cargo Tracking, Vessel Tracking, and North America Rail Tracing directly from your PC's desktop. It is available in multiple languages including English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese. Please note that field labels, column headers, and help text are available in multiple languages. Text must be entered in English and all search results are displayed in English.

| How it Works |
| CargoSmart Desktop is based on Microsoft's .NET Framework technology. The CargoSmart Desktop installation includes the .NET Framework. After you have installed it, you will see a CargoSmart icon on your PC's desktop. Click on the icon, sign in, and start using the application. You will not need to update the software once you install it. When you are connected to the Internet, the application will automatically check CargoSmart's system for updates. |

| To start using CargoSmart Desktop, register for a CargoSmart Individual or Company Membership and download the CargoSmart Desktop application. If you are already registered with CargoSmart, you do not need to re-register. Please be sure your PC meets the following requirements: |
