U.S. Trade Compliance Solutions
CargoSmart offers ACE e-Manifest, ISF, and EEI filing solutions to help shippers, consignees, and logistics service providers (LSPs) comply with U.S. regulations and manage the flow of shipment information to keep their cargo moving and delivered on time.

ACE e-Manifest Solution
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requires that carriers or NVOCCs file advanced manifest data through its Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) for ocean shipments destined for the U.S. or on board a vessel calling the U.S. 24 hours prior to the vessel departing the load port at origin. CargoSmart's ACE solution for sea shipments offers NVOCCs secure, online filing from a centralized shipment management platform. The solution helps NVOCCs:
  • Save time preparing and submitting ACE e-Manifest filings
  • Minimize risk of late filings to CBP
  • Improve visibility with advanced monitoring of the filing process and status notifications
ISF Solution
CBP launched the Importer Security Filing (ISF), or '10+2', regulation in 2009. It requires U.S. importers to file multiple data elements at least 24 hours prior to vessel loading at the foreign port. CargoSmart's ISF solution helps importers:
  • Minimize the risk of penalties for inaccurate, late, or missing filings
  • Quickly identify potential restricted parties and reduce corporate risk
  • Keep filing costs under control
  • Reduce the effort to consolidate 10+2 data elements and save resources
  • Improve visibility with advanced monitoring of the filing process and status
EEI Solution
U.S. exporters must file Electronic Export Information (EEIs) to the U.S. Census Bureau's Automated Export System (AES). CargoSmart's EEI solution offers streamlined online filing that is integrated with booking and shipping instructions.
The solution helps exporters:
  • Save time preparing and submitting export filings
  • Minimize risk of penalties from CBP for late or missing filings and late filing fees from carriers
  • Quickly identify potential restricted parties and reduce corporate risk
  • Improve visibility with advanced monitoring of the filing process and status
  • Comply with Foreign Trade Regulation document storage requirements
