Bill of Lading Document Status (Standard Print) - CargoSmart Help

CargoSmart has a set of predefined rules that governs what actions are available to the user depending on the type of bill of lading document, Draft Bill of Lading, Sea Waybill (Limited Regions), Sea Waybill, and Copy Bill of Lading, AND the current status of the document. For a detailed list of actions available associated with different document types, please refer to the tips on Actions Available.

At any given time, a bill of lading document status may be one of the following depending on its document type:

For Draft Bill of Lading:

  • New
    		• - the document was received from the carrier and no actions have been performed on the document
  • Viewed
    		•  - a user in your company has performed a View action on this document
  • Accepted
    		•  - a user in your company has performed an Accept action on this document
  • Change Requested
    		•  - a user in your company has performed a Request Change action on this document and the new version has not been received from the carrier
  • Withdrawn
    		• - the document was withdrawn by the carrier

    For Original Bill of Lading:

  • New
    		• - the document was received from the carrier and no actions have been performed on the document
  • Viewed
    		•  - a user in your company has performed a View action on this document
  • Printed
    		•  - a user in your company has performed a Print action on this document
  • Reprint Requested
    		•  - a user in your company has performed a Request Reprint action on this document and the document has not been received from the carrier
  • Change Requested
    		•  - a user in your company has performed a Request Change action on this document and the new version has not been received from the carrier
  • Withdrawn
    		• - the document was withdrawn by the carrier

    For Sea Waybill (Limited Regions):

  • New
    		• - the document was received from the carrier and no actions have been performed on the document
  • Viewed
    		• - a user in your company has performed a View action on this document
  • Printed
    		• - a user in your company has performed a Print action on this document
  • Reprint Requested
    		• - a user in your company has performed a Request Reprint action on this document and the document has not been received from the carrier
  • Change Requested
    		• - a user in your company has performed a Request Change action on this document and the new version has not been received from the carrier
  • Withdrawn
    		• - the document was withdrawn by the carrier

    For Sea Waybill:

  • New
    		• - the document was received from the carrier and no actions have been performed on the document
  • Viewed
    		• - a user in your company has performed a View action on this document
  • Printed
    		• - a user in your company has performed a Print action on this document
  • Change Requested
    		• - a user in your company has performed a Request Change action on this document and the new version has not been received from the carrier
  • Withdrawn
    		• - the document was withdrawn by the carrier

    For Copy Bill of Lading:

  • New
    		• - the document was received from the carrier and no actions have been performed on the document
  • Viewed
    		• - a user in your company has performed a View action on this document
  • Printed
    		• - a user in your company has performed a Print action on this document
  • Withdrawn
    		• - the document was withdrawn by the carrier
